# Lentil.

Lentil is an AI platform that builds and runs websites for local businesses. Purplecones, a product studio, built it as our own product for local business owners. We took it from a working first version to something that can carry many businesses.

The hard part

A business owner should get a site that looks made for them, stays fast, and keeps working without ever calling a developer.

The first version worked, and every change got harder. So we treated it the way we would treat a client's product: audit first, then rebuild what was load-bearing.
