About Purplecones

# Seasoned people. AI speed.

Purplecones is a product studio for founders and companies, founded in 2011. We started with data integrations for New York City agencies that help keep New Yorkers safer, and have since built software for government, banking, retail, construction and co-ops. What we believe

AI changed how fast software gets made. It did not change what makes software good: taste, judgment, and someone who cares when it breaks.

How we work

## Four rules.

### Seasoned people only.

The person on the first call writes the code. No account managers, no handoffs.

### Something to see every week.

Working software every Friday, not a status report.

### Built for everyone.

Everything we build meets WCAG 2.2 AA.

### We use what we build.

We run our own products, so we build yours to be run.

The person you talk to

## No account managers. No handoffs. The person you brief is the person doing the work.

You work directly with the engineering lead, and every message gets a reply from a person within 24 hours.

We walk the walk

## We ship our own.

Six products of our own are live, and we maintain them ourselves. They are where we learn what lasts.
